General Information For Admission 2014-2015

Online admission form will be available in the following website viz. www.vidyasagarcollege.edu.in from 12 midnight of 4th June, 2014 and the same has to be filled in and to be submitted online. The last date for online submission of form will be 15th June, 2014 up to 12 midnight.

Application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per form has to be deposited at any branch of Indian Overseas Bank all over the West Bengal on presentation of pay-in-slip (Bank Copy) which must be downloaded after submitting the On-line form. The applicants are also instructed to take a print out of the filled up application form and retain the same for further communication/ references. The list of branches of IOB (CBS) will be available while filling up the Pay-in-slip. The last date of submission of application fee will be 17th June, 2014 (within Banking hours).

The candidate has to preserve his/her pay-in-slip(s) & hard copy of the filled up form(s) as these are required to produce during the time of counseling and admission processes. Without pay-inslip & hard copy of the filled up form(s) no claim for admission will be entertained.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent Examination from any Board or Council recognized by Calcutta University in 2011 and onwards are eligible to seek admission to First Year B.A./ B.Sc. (Honours/ General) of 3 year degree course under 1+1+1 system (2009 Regulation of University of Calcutta) for the session 2014-2015.

Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit. For publication of provisional merit list of the applicants, the date of assembly, time, venue, etc in each subject/stream and also for other related informations, the applicants are directed to visit our website (www.vidyasagarcollege.edu.in) after the publication of merit list.
Any application form containing wrong and/ or incomplete information will be rejected and will not be considered for further processing regarding admission.
